Fibrocystic breast disease is rapidly becoming one of the most common health concerns in women. A trial involving 108 women who had fibrocystic breast disease were treated with molecular iodine for nine months. 98% were pain free by the end of the study and improvement was observed in 71.8% of the women. Other treatments for fibrocystic breast disease involve dietary changes and supplementation with Vitamin E. Anecdotal reports also suggest that thiamine will help.

Over 40 years ago our food industry removed iodine from most baked good and replaced it with bromine. Although iodine and bromine seem to be similar to the thyroid gland, bromine is not valuable to the thyroid and therefore inhibits the activity of iodine. This substitution has contributed greatly to an almost universal iodine deficiency in America. Could there have actually been a deeper reason for the substitution of bromine for iodine? Was the pharmaceutical industry behind this in order to create a need for more drugs?
